The Busan Cinema Center is the city's leading film cultural complex where visitors can enjoy exhibitions, movies, performances, and other cultural programs. The Home to the Busan International Film Festival or BIFF, Asia's premier film festival and the venue for many international events, the center also houses cinemas that show art, classic and popular films. Creating a vibrant landmark within the urban landscape, the center is comprised of three buildings (BIFF Hill, Double Cone, Cine Mountain) and boasts the longest cantilever roof (Big Roof) in the world that stretches across Cine Mountain and BIFF Hill. The outdoor theater, a major event venue, is located under the roof. At night, the LED lights installed on the Big Roof provide a rainbow of colors to create a dazzling night scene. The outdoor theater can seat up to 6,000 people, and features a large screen and 5.1 channel surround sound stereo speakers, making it ideal for larger events.
